Terms and Conditions

This website and its contents are owned and managed by CAKEWALK BAKERY LLC, DUBAI UAE. By confirming your booking or processing transaction / order will establish that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions. these form the basis on which you can visit our website and can do online ordering. With this website we accept orders for only Dubai Areas. Any order for location outside Dubai must be coordinated and confirmed either by visiting shop or by contacting us on mentioned email / phone.  We only sell our products to adults (18 years of age or above). If you are under-age then we will advise you to let your parents or elders deal with this website.

Please note that we may have different promotions and offers however two different offers will not merge in single order.

We offer Card payments through Visa / master card / JCB. Cash on delivery is also available. In case of online payment or advance payment for customized order please retain a copy of transition in printed or soft form. In case of customized order customer need to pay at least 50% of the total order value in advance. This amount may increase or decrease depending on size of order and specifications as discussed and confirmed with cakewalk team. For customized orders cakewalk team give a call to respected customer shortly after placement of order to discuss all customization in detail.  Customized order should preferable be placed at least 24 hours and orders acceptance will subject to company approval.

In case an order is to be pick up from shop by customer itself, then customer should collect it within a day or coordinate with us prior in case of delay or change in program. If any order is not pick up without any prior information by customers than company will dispose it off on next day. No refund or credit note will be made against such orders and all financial loss is to be bear by customer solely.

We do our every effort to make sure our products are as perfect and accurate as shown on website however colors you are seeing in your screen depends on your screen resolution and actual product may vary in colors and dimensions. Customized product may also vary a little depending on type of carving and size of cake due to limitations of food ingredients and may also due to human factor. We may also update our products designs and specifications without any prior notice. Generally our signature products remain same most of time and Cakewalk regular customers know about changes that we are bringing from time to time for improvement.  

Orders are accepted subject to availability. If any product is not available for your order, we will contact you through details provided by you on “Billing information section”. In such case we may offer you similar products with similar price range if possible, or you may cancel your order and we will give you full refund for that item in case payment is already processed. In case we are unable to contact you on your provided details then we will simply skip that item and will process rest of products in your order for you. 

In case of any change in order customization or delivery date for already accepted order, customer must inform cakewalk at least before 24 hours and acceptance of change will subject to company approval. Any additional cost arising for any such change shall be bearded by customer. We may refund you amount if customization will result in decrease of final product subject to company approval. 

Please note that while processing your order clearly mention it if it is eggless, diabetic or with any other special customization. For such products we follow standards religiously however cakewalk will not take any responsibility for any allergic reactions arising from consumption of our products. Though we won’t use eggs in eggless products or sugar in diabetic products however these product are prepared within same kitchen.  So traces of allergens can come from environment as contamination into product. In our diabetic products we don’t use at all any added sugar however some sugar may naturally be present in flour and in other ingredients.

If at the time of order delivery, customer feels it is not in accordance with specification or up to the mark as discussed customer should immediately coordinate with us at the time of order delivery. We may compensate customers if customer’s claim is true in following ways whichever is possible:

  • We may call back order with customer consensus and amend it to suit customer’s requirements
  • Where timely changes not possible we may delivery some complementary products or credit note depending on severity and truthfulness of claim subject to company approval
  • We may take product back and may refund customer completely.

Once order is delivered and accepted by customer, it is customer’s responsibility to take care of it in every aspect right from keeping temperature and conditions to handling. Cakewalk won’t be responsible later for any damage, or change in shape, discoloration or spoilage.

CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
